Jardine Colchester is delighted to introduce our New Car Sales Manager, Robert Cole.

Growing from a huge interest in cars as a young child, Rob first started in the motor trade in 2002 as a 15-year-old. Completing his work experience in a parts and accessory store, working weekends alongside his studies, before starting full-time after leaving College in 2005 as a qualified Sports & Fitness Coach.

Working in this environment grew his passion for cars and facilitated a change in career path as he wanted to follow his dream to one day work for Ferrari, over the following years he developed his skill set within Customer Service then progressed to a Deputy Store Manager.

He eventually moved into car sales in 2012 within the budget volume sector, then to the premium volume sector after 18 months to further his career, with one eye on the ultimate goal of Ferrari. After only 10 months an opportunity arose to reach this goal, which Rob grabbed with both hands to become a Sales Executive for Ferrari & Maserati in April 2015, this was the start of his journey with the brand.

In 2017 Rob completed the Business Manager Development Programme, and took the step-up from being one of the Sales Executives to now support the management team. In 2018 he qualified for the Ferrari Testa Rossa Awards for the first time, the awards recognise the “best of the best” within Ferrari on an annual basis, in which Rob qualified as a Top Sales Executive to compete in the finals, alongside 11 other Sales Executives from dealerships worldwide.

In 2019 he again qualified to compete, which was followed-up in 2020 with a runners-up finish, before claiming the trophy in 2021 to cap a fantastic year that also included the birth of his son Jesse.

In March 2023, Robert was promoted to New Car Sales Manager and the entire team at Jardine Ferrari are excited to support Robert in his next challenge.
